Tim Heerdink will be discussing his chapbook, Red Flag and Other Poems. From visiting the sites of the Holocaust to meeting survivors, Heerdink knew the memory of such an event must live on in younger generations. Red Flag and Other Poems is the first chapbook in a series whose proceeds will benefit different causes.
Tim Heerdink is a freelance editor/writer who has a chapbook, Red Flag and Other Poems, published through Bird Brain Publishing. Several of his poems are published in the Fish Hook, the Midwest Writers Guild's Shared Words, Distinct Voices, and All Poetry's On Earth as it is in Poetry. He graduated from University of Southern Indiana with a Bachelor of Arts in English and currently resides in Newburgh, Indiana with his wife, Amber, daughter, Audrey, and their two cats. His debut novel, Last Lights of a Dying Sun, and his full-length poetry collection, The Human Remains, will also be available soon.
