It's true: Writing heals. Writing can be our medicine. Hundreds of research studies over the last 30 years have shown that simple, proven journaling techniques can boost well-being in body, mind, and spirit. In this no-cost two-session class, you will learn to harness the power of these techniques for yourself on paper or screen. You will learn how your body and brain react to what you write -- and how you can use journaling to build healthier habits. Journaling has no rules, it can be done in only minutes at a time, and you need not be a "good" writer. All you need is to give yourself permission to embark on your own healing journey through writing. The techniques you learn will be yours for a lifetime.
Pencil and paper will be provided, but feel free to bring a journal, notebook, laptop or tablet if you prefer.
No journaling experience necessary!
