If Willard doesn't own certain titles, check with one of our librarians about either interlibrary loan from another library via INCOLSA WHEELS or Willard Library purchasing the book for the Willard collection. Please remember receiving titles in this fashion takes a while, so the earlier you make a request, the better the opportunity for Willard to fulfill your request within your timeframe.

On Display: Native American Leaders of the Mid-19th Century

The Adele and Paul Torian Native American Leaders of the Mid-19th Century Exhibit features three volumes of Thomas L. McKenney’s History of the Indian Tribes of North America. With portraits and biographies of the great Native American chiefs of the 1800s, the series is considered one of the most important historical records of Native American life. A gift to Willard Library from Adele and Paul Torian, the volumes are on permanent display on the main floor of the library. Check the calendar of library events for the related lecture series.
