Nov 29, 2012
(6:00 PM - 8:00 PM)

In Everybody’s History, Professor Keith A. Erekson focuses on the Southwestern Indiana Historical Society—an organization composed of lawyers, historians, collectors, genealogists, teachers, college presidents, and newspaper editors—who joined together during the 1920s and 1930s to recover a part of Lincoln’s life his biographers had long ignored: the years from age seven to twenty-one when he lived on the Indiana frontier. Professor Erekson will be here at Willard Library on Thursday, November 29th to talk about his exciting book on an American icon. He will also be able to sign pre-purchased copies of his book, available at Barnes and Noble.

For more information, contact Lyn Martin at lmartin@willard.lib.in.us or call Special Collections at (812) 425-4309. Registrations are requested but not required. This program is free and open to the public.
